Online Activities

We realise that many people like to engage with online activities

There are loads happening each week and you can easily find them on our Facebook Live page. Anyone can access these but it pays to become a member because you can influence what activities we produce and also have a direct feedback to the presenters. Below are a few of the regular sessions which you can join.

Cooking demos

Every week you can watch a cooking demonstration that can help you use the ingredients that are available each  Wednesday in our Social Pantry food bags.

The videos are all on Facebook Live and are very easy to follow. They will help you create a fantastic meal for the cost of just a small donation. This week’s  presentation is available here:

Members Courses

We are introducing a variety of exciting member’s courses throughout June.

These courses will help to provide you with techniques and coping strategies to make life easier.

They will be facilitated by Mark with support from Sasha and will be modified as required to suit the needs and requests of members.

Cooking with Rob and Friends

Our cookery presentations on Facebook live have been taking place throughout lockdown They are very popular programmes and offer cheap and healthy recipes to try. Recently we have been linking the recipes to the content of our food packs so that viewers can make a healthy meal under Robert’s guidance, using the ingredients that are available every Wednesday lunchtime to collect   Here is the link to a recent Facebook Live presentation:

These sessions which are facilitated by Monica, offer you a chance to wake up in a calming manner and start your day with some positive mental wellbeing by having the opportunity to stretch your body and get ready for the day.
